There’s no shortage of amazing co-working spaces in Wandsworth Town, all with their own array of wonderful benefits, like delicious coffee on-tap, pet-friendly workspaces, social events, and even gyms!
We had the honour of trying one that has it all – The Gatehouse by Spacemade.
Based on Armoury Way, The Gatehouse is a mere stone’s throw from Wandsworth Town station, local bus routes, and some of the best lunch spots in town, making it a premium location whether you’re based in the town centre or further afield.
We were immediately impressed with the amount of natural light that floods the space. The beautiful design and gorgeous furniture adds to the effect and creates a spacious and inviting atmosphere.

You’ll sit in a comfortable ergonomic chair with full lumbar support, and there’s ample breakout space to give you the perfect chillout zone and/or thinking space. You’ll also have access to fully-equipped kitchens and delicious unlimited Caravan coffee on tap.
Need a meeting room? The Gatehouse has plenty, and they’re even named after movies shot locally, like A Clockwork Orange, Love Actually, and The Iron Lady.
Okay, that’s the essentials out of the way, but this is where it gets really impressive.
The Gatehouse is dog friendly! No more worrying about your four-legged friend missing you at home, they can join you in the office! There’s even a selection of tasty treats for them to enjoy while you work, because why should you have all the fun.
Cycle to work? Not a problem. The Gatehouse has its own secure bike storage facility.
Worried about squeezing that workout into your busy day? The Gatehouse has a Peloton room and yoga studio!
Feeling a bit ripe after your workout? Freshen up in The Gatehouse’s showers. Don’t worry about your belongings, you can store them in the safe lockers.
We also happened to be there on the day of The Gatehouse’s ice cream breakfast social. Yes, who knew those words belonged together, but they do, and anyone who tells you that you can’t have ice cream for breakfast is a damn dirty liar and a fun sponge! It was a fantastic opportunity to meet other people using the workspace, network, and enjoy delicious organic ice cream with a variety of mouth-watering toppings.
This must all cost an absolute fortune, right?
