Have you dined at MEET Quarter yet? Their mouth-watering menu makes this Ram Quarter eatery a must-try in Wandsworth. We caught up with manager Mel to find out more.
Hey Mel, tell us a little about who you are and what you do.
We are Meet Quarter, a European-inspired steakhouse who pride ourselves on the quality of our food, drinks and service. Our imaginative team have created and curated some incredible recipes and its our pleasure to them share with you.
How did MEET Quarter come about?
Our owner’s passion for quality food and drink and the desire to enjoy both in a beautiful environment inspired the concept. A lot of fine-tuning went into the creation of MEET Quarter, including a lot of time, effort, thought, dedication and care put into every aspect of our dining experience.
What’s your personal dinner and drink pairing from your menu?
My favourite pairing would probably be the braised ox cheek mini donuts starter, followed by our sharer steak – T-bone, but you can have sirloin and fillet – with our homemade chimichurri, paired with a gorgeously well-rounded and full-bodied Argentinian Malbec.
What about those with a sweet tooth?
We absolutely do desserts, and we’re proud to say that all of our desserts are lovingly made in-house. A fan favourite is definitely the white chocolate lava cake.
Tell us about your team.
Our team is an eccentric and talented bunch. We kept the team small for more of a tight-knit, authentic feel. We’re quite fussy about who we pick to represent us and what we stand for, as we know how important it is to make a good first impression and ensure customers enjoy their experience from beginning to end.
Our kitchen team have a combined few decades’ of worth of experience from across the world. Our floor team are very professional, with a wealth of experienced in a variety of venues, and are all positive and hard-working. Our bar team are incredibly creative and talented, using experience and imagination to create and explore new recipes on an almost daily basis. We leave them to work their scientific magic and taste the outcomes.
What’s your favourite thing about Wandsworth Town?
What we love about Wandsworth Town is the convenience of having everything one could need in the immediate area; the buzz of a shopping centre, the hum and history of Old York Road, but mostly, of course, the community feel. We love our neighbours! We also love and appreciate the honest, productive feedback that residents have been able to provide us with, and hope to continue to cultivate an incredible relationship with our locals.
