We caught up Stacey Taylor, owner and founder, to find out more.
Tell us who you are and what you do.
I’m Stacey, the founder of Alkaline Eats, a food and drink delivery service committed to promoting health and wellness through fresh and delicious products made entirely from plant-based, alkaline ingredients.
How did Alkaline Eats come about?
I needed to find a diet that supported my chronic health challenges, and after years of research and experimentation, I created a collection of Alkaline recipes that transformed my wellbeing. Now, I’m passionate about helping others regain their healthy, energy and vitality for a vibrant life.
What products do you offer?
We offer a range of nourishing options, including fresh cold-pressed juices, healing tonics, broth and soups, salads, and main dishes, all made with natural, additive-free ingredients. Every product is 100% plant-based, free from nuts, dairy and refined oils, with most dishes also being grain and gluten-free.
What’s your personal favourite?
Ooh, that’s a tough one! With the chilly weather we’ve been having lately, I’ve loved the Immunity-Boosting Ramen. The hint of spice from cayenne pepper adds warmth and the spelt noodles make it light and easy on digestion. It’s the perfect cosy comfort.
What would you say to anyone thinking of improving their nutrient intake?
Absolutely go for it! But it’s essential to ensure your body can effectively absorb and utilise nutrients. With today’s typical Western diet, many people experience waste build-up and internal inflammation, particularly in the gut.
My advice is to focus on natural, whole foods that are easy to digest and provide sustained energy while minimising processed foods and acidic ingredients. Prioritising clean, nourishing choices will help your body function at its best.
What’s your favourite thing about Wandsworth Town?
I love that Wandsworth has so much green space, with Wandsworth Common, Wandsworth Park, and King George’s Park all nearby. While a healthy diet is essential, spending time outdoors and finding moments of peace in nature are just as important for overall wellbeing.
Alkaline Eats is available to order direct to your door. Follow on Instagram and don’t forget to download the Wandsworth Town app to access amazing local offers and events.
