Spotlight: Barrecore Wandsworth

Barrecore is helping the good folks of Wandsworth Town get lean, strong and flexible. We caught up with Amelia, general manager of Barrecore Wandsworth, to find out more.

What is Barrecore? 

Barrecore offers high-intensity, low-impact barre classes designed to strengthen, lengthen, and tone the entire body.

The workouts are a blend of ballet-inspired movements, Pilates, and yoga, focusing on isometric exercises to target specific muscle groups, leading to improved core strength, flexibility, and posture.

The classes are known for inducing the “Barrecore Shake,” a sign that you’re engaging deep, stabilizing muscles.

How can we get involved? 

You can start by booking classes at our studio.

We offer two introductory classes for £25, making it easy for beginners to try out the experience.

As well as our in-person classes, you can take part online through live streams and on-demand sessions.

We have flexible membership options tailored to different needs.

You can either pay per class through credit packs or choose from various membership tiers, which allow access to both in-studio and online classes.

There’s also a popular on-demand platform for those who prefer to work out at home.

What are the health benefits of Barrecore? 

Barrecore helps improve core strength, muscular endurance, flexibility, and posture. It targets often neglected muscles, which leads to a toned, lean physique. While it isn’t designed for heavy lifting or intense cardio, it enhances body alignment and helps with muscle toning, particularly around the hips, glutes, thighs, and core.
