There’s a new arrival on Old York Road, and their timing couldn’t be more perfect. Cha Thai Story is here, and they’re serving delicious and refreshing bubble teas as well as sumptuous desserts. But, while this might be a new addition to town, there’s something altogether familiar about them…
Tell us who you are and what you do.
We are a family run business, operating Pad Thai Story both in Wandsworth Town and Battersea Rise,
Cha Thai Story is our younger sister, a grab and go café serving bubble tea, bingsu, cakes, and famous Thai desserts like mango sticky rice.
How did Cha Thai Story come about?
Cha Thai Story comes from the idea of adding some colour to the area and introducing some variety for those with a sweet tooth. We love bubble tea and bingsu and we wanted to introduce them to the locals and passers by.
What flavour teas do you offer?
We have Thai milk tea, Macha green tea, Earl Grey, coffee, mango, coconut and strawberry.
Which is your favourite flavour?
We would recommend our Thai milk tea, mango, coconut and strawberry.
Tell us more about your desserts, they look amazing!
We serve coconut cake, mango cake, season fruit cakes, bingsu, and Thai tea panna cotta. We’ll be adding more products to our menu soon. We carefully pick our suppliers to ensure we always serve good quality products.
We try to provide a variety of cakes to suit all dietary and allergy requirements, so we have vegan and low-gluten cakes on our menu, too.
What’s your favourite thing about Wandsworth Town?
What we love about Wandsworth Town is the variety of businesses, especially the stylists and restaurants. It’s such a friendly neighbourhood, and most importantly for us, there is no busy road!
