Meet Gigi, she’s all about helping local folk transform their health and elevate their nutrition game. We caught up with her to find out more.
Tell us who you are and what you do.
I’m Gigi and I’m a Registered Associate Nutritionist (ANutr) and Level 3 Personal Trainer with a focus on root cause nutrition, hormone health, and stress management.
I provide a holistic approach to health, offering personalised nutrition and lifestyle plans based on comprehensive testing, such as DUTCH tests, to address issues like hormonal imbalances, chronic stress, and weight management. I aim to help my clients uncover the underlying causes of their health concerns and guide them toward sustainable, long-lasting results.
How did you get into nutrition?
My journey into nutrition was deeply personal. As a young competitive athlete, I struggled with disordered eating, lost my period for years, and battled hormonal acne without clear guidance or support. I was a classic yo-yo dieter, stuck in a cycle that was mentally and physically draining. I was told these issues were “normal,” but I knew there had to be a better way.
Driven by my own challenges, I educated myself on the root causes of these issues, learned how to heal my body, and discovered a passion for helping others find freedom and balance in their health journeys. Now, I use my experience and expertise to guide clients toward a healthier, more sustainable lifestyle.
