Fitness is at the heart of our community. I mean, just look at the incredible array of workout options in Wandsworth Town.
Add to that list Ilia Panev, fitness coach. We caught up with him to find out more about what he does.
Hey Ilia, tell us who you are and what you do.
I’m a fitness coach who works extensively with a variety of people to change the way they think about diet, food, exercise and lifestyle.
I’m here to help you navigate an industry that has so much noise around the most important elements of health and fitness. I want to guide you to making the best choices for you, and discover the ultimate way to eat and exercise.
How did your fitness journey begin?
I first joined a gym at 15. Back then it was all about aesthetics.
When I emigrated to Milan, Italy, in 2011, I stopped exercising and ate whatever I pleased. This led to several health conditions that drove a desire to get healthy, so I started doing some research.
In 2016, about two years after moving to the UK, I decided that personal training was my calling, so I obtained a PT diploma and that was the beginning of my career. Since then I’ve been researching and trying different styles of training and dieting to discover the ultimate combination for you.
What does your personal training programme look like?
The programme consists of a personalised nutrition plan and a personalised training programme, with a free consultation included.
We start our communication on WhatsApp, but the workouts, training programme, progress tracker accountability is down through Trainerize, a fantastic coaching app.
I offer one to two PT sessions per week, including couples training.
My prices vary:
Home training:
Two sessions per week at £55 each, or £80 for couples
One session per week at £65 each, or £95 for couples
In-studio:
Two sessions per week at £70 each, or £105 for couples
One session per week at £85 each or £125 for couples
I think clients appreciate my understanding of fitness and nutrition and they enjoy the great results they get and the fun we have along the way.
Where can we find out more?
I don’t have a website, but you can reach out to me via Instagram or Gmail ([email protected]), plus you can see clients reviews on Google.
What’s your favourite thing about Wandsworth Town?
The vibe and location! I adore walking around town and seeing a mix of young families and professionals, it creates a great atmosphere.
Wandsworth Town doesn’t lack anything, and considering our proximity to the capital, I believe this is the best place to live in London.
