Spotlight: The Mum Club Wandsworth

Meet The Mum Club Wandsworth, a dedicated network helping local mums build real connections. We caught up with Wandsworth host Hannah Gill to find out more.

Tell us about The Mum Club Wandsworth.

We create social events that put mums first. Motherhood is often centred around baby groups and classes, but we believe that a happy, connected mum makes for a happy baby.

Our events are designed to foster real friendships, provide much-needed support, and give mums the chance to relax, have fun, and feel truly. Whether it’s a brunch with like-minded women, a casual walk with a coffee in hand, or a night out without the little ones, we bring mums together in a way that prioritises them.

What inspired you to get involved with The Mum Club Wandsworth?

I was the first in my friendship group to have a baby, and while my friends were supportive, they couldn’t fully understand the whirlwind of emotions, changes and challenges that come with new motherhood. I longed for connection with people who just got it – those who were also up at 3am, navigating nap schedules, and figuring out their new identity as a mum.

Joining The Mum Club was a way to create the community I craved, and now, I get to help other women find their village too.

How big is your network of mums now?

In just nine months we’ve welcomed more than 200 mums to our events!

Every week, new faces join us and we see real friendships forming, WhatsApp groups buzzing, and support systems strengthening.

The best part? Many of the mum who came to their first event feeling nervous and alone are now the ones welcoming others into the fold.

How have Wandsworth mums benefited from The Mum Club?

Wandsworth is filled with incredible baby classes and activities, but what was missing was something for mums – a space where they are the priority.

The Mum Club Wandsworth fills that gap by offering events designed for their enjoyment, wellbeing and connection. Whether it’s having an uninterrupted conversation over brunch, sharing the highs and lows of motherhood with people who truly understand, or just stepping out of the house knowing they’ll be greeted with warmth, our mums leave feeling seen, supported, and part of something special.

What events have you got coming up?

We have some very exciting events on the horizon:

Brunch Club, 14 April, at The Red Setter
A relaxed and sociable brunch where mums can enjoy good food, great company, and real conversations.

Walking Club, 23 April, at Battersea Park
Enjoy coffee from District London and a casual, stroller-friendly walk, where we chat and get some fresh air.

Brunch, 28 April, at The County Arms
We’ll be joined by life coach Arti Kashyap Aynsley and you’ll get some flowers to take home from Bouquet & Berry.
