Wandsworth Town Christmas Festival will return on Saturday 30 November, bringing festive fun and family entertainment to the heart of SW18.
The day will kick off from 10:30am with a fabulous makers’ market from Go Inspire at Ram Quarter, where you’ll be able to meet with amazing local creatives and purchase unique gifts for your loved ones, or simply treat yourself.
Over at Southside Shopping Centre, Riverside Radio will be broadcasting live throughout the day from the piazza stage, where visitors will be able to enjoy live performances from local talent, including music, dance and theatre.
Little ones will be able to meet Santa at Southside’s magical festive grotto, and don’t forget to look out for the mischievous Polar Bear who’s been spotted wandering around the shopping centre.
The Mayor of Wandsworth will join in the festive fun at 4:30pm for the Christmas light switch-on, outside Southside.
This year’s Christmas Festival charity partner is Mind Brent, Wandsworth and Westminster who do invaluable work in our community, helping people to access the support they need. This year’s event will go directly towards supporting their vital mental health work in Wandsworth.
Take part in this year’s charity raffle to support Mind Wandsworth and be in with a chance of winning some fantastic prizes, including a Nintendo Switch games console, Garmin Forerunner 55 fitness watch, a Paperwhite Kindle e-reader, a Yoto Box, and more. Tickets are available to purchase on the day at Mind’s stall at the Christmas market in Ram Quarter. The raffle will be drawn at 4:15pm at Riverside Radio’s stage on Southside’s piazza, right before the Christmas lights go on.
You can also take your kids to Mind Wandsworth’s face painting booth at Southside to make a charitable donation. And come away with a roarsome tiger in tow.
That’s not all that’s up for grabs. The Christmas Festival will also mark the start of our advent calendar competition, where you’ll be able to win some incredible local prizes throughout December. Simply download the We Are Wandsworth Town app and you’ll be automatically entered into the prize draw. Prizes include a £50 bar tab, dinner for two, gym memberships, and much more.
