Ho-ho-holy moly! Wandsworth Town Christmas Festival is back!
Join us for all the festivities, including the big Christmas light switch-on, on Saturday 21 November at Southside, Wandsworth.
We’ll have live entertainment from local and up-and-coming talent on Southside’s Piazza on Wandsworth High Street from 11am, with our good friends Riverside Radio, broadcasting across SW London, and beyond.
Step inside the shopping centre and meet the big man himself. That’s right, Santa Claus will be dropping in to meet with little ones and hear their Christmas wishes, and they’ll even receive a gift to take home.
Santa will be at Southside until Christmas Eve (24 December). Click here to book your tickets.
But, look out! The Grinch has also been seen at Southside. In fact, we have it on good authority that he’ll be bringing mischief galore to the shopping centre on the day of the Christmas Festival.
The big day will finish, as always, with the Christmas light switch-on, celebrating the official arrival of Christmas in Wandsworth Town.
In fact, the Christmas Festival just marks the start of the festive fun at Southside, with activities taking place every weekend up to 20 December.
Saturday 28 November: Festive Elf Hunt & Christmas Elves
Saturday 5 December: Roller-Skating Baubles & Wreath Making
Saturday 12 December: Elsa, Olaf & The Magical Snow Lion
Sunday 13 December: Festive Face Painting
Saturday 19 December: Stilt-Walking Reindeer & Gingerbread Decorating
Sunday 20 December: Christmas Magic Show

Shannon Reed, Centre Director at Southside, said: “This Christmas, we’re bringing even more festive magic to Southside! From 21 November right up until the big day, visitors can enjoy a wonderful programme of festive activities, with special guests making appearances every weekend to spread some Christmas cheer. We want Southside to be a magical space for our community to come together, make special memories and enjoy the festive season. We look forward to welcoming families, friends and their four-legged companions to join us in celebrating the most magical time of the year!”
James Mbanefo, Executive Director at Wandsworth Town BID, added: “It’s always special for us to bring the Christmas Festival to Wandsworth Town. We see how much it means to local families to engage with their community and get in the festive spirit. This is also a great opportunity for us to promote everything that Wandsworth Town has to offer, whether you’re a resident or you’re just visiting for the day; we know there’s something for everyone.”
Save the date, Wandsworth. It’s about to get real Christmassy up in here.
